CHILDREN:  Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Ps 127:3

The word Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.  Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The mission of AWANA is...

·  To reach children & their families for Christ
·  To encourage children to memorize scripture
·  To involve children in missions
·  To teach children honesty & sportsmanship

AWANA offers an exciting time of learning, awards, and goals. Every child is encouraged to develop knowledge and values that will last a lifetime. This is done through personal Bible memorization, group Bible study and team-oriented games and events.

Sparks is a club geared for your Kindergarten - 2nd grade child. Sparks is an exciting program that features scripture memorization. Your child will follow Sparky through the Skipper, Hiker and Climber workbooks as they learn about God, Jesus and the Bible. Sparks also has game time -a favorite with the kids. They will join the entire club for fun games and cheer their team on in a friendly environment. Finally, during Green Meadow time the kids join together to praise God, and hear a special age-appropriate gospel message. Your child will take pride in wearing their hard earned awards on their Sparky vest.

Truth and Training is for 3rd through 6th graders.  Clubbers head out on the "Ultimate Adventure" working their way through four workbooks, learning God’s word with verse memorization.  They have great fun with game time and receive an encouraging talk at council time.

YOUTH

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Tim 4:12

Our active youth program offers an exciting place to learn practical truths from God’s Word. The goal is to help them build foundations of spiritual truth and practice that will guide them through these formative years.

In addition to Sunday morning, the Middle School program meets on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:15. They engage in active game activities along with bible teaching and music. “Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” Ps 119:11.

Our Senior High program meets on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:15.

Do you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior?

If not, we would like to share some verses with you that can help you discover a personal and meaningful relationship with Him.

The Bible’s Plan to Becoming A Friend of God

Q. Who needs to be saved?
A. Everyone.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.
Q. What is the penalty for sin?
A. Death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Q. Is there more than one way to obtain salvation?
A. No. If there were another way Jesus would not had to have suffered the cross.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
Q. Does God really love me?
A. Yes. He sent His Son to die for your sins.
3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Q. What must I do to be saved?
A. Confess to God that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died on the cross (to save you from your sins) and arose three days later, and invite Jesus into your life as your personal savior.
Acts 16:30-31 He then brought them out and asked,
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved --you and your household."
10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Q. When should I accept Christ as my personal Savior?
A. Now. You have no promise of tomorrow.
Proverbs 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
II Corinthians 6:2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor,
now is the day of salvation.
Salvation is a free gift. But like any gift it is not yours until you accept it.
Prayer is simply an expression of the heart to God.  If the following prayer reflects your desire then express it to God believing His promise to hear you.

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that the Bible is the Word of God.  I believe that Jesus died and rose again as full payment for the consequences of my sin.  I invite you into my life right now.  May my life please You from this day forward.  In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen."

If you prayed this prayer please let us know by sending us a note from the Contact Us page.  We'd love to hear from you!
